The L.A. Times Innovation Lab calls for ambitious students from design, engineering, journalism, and research backgrounds to join our 4th cohort of Creative Technologist Internship. Since the conception of the program, we have strived to build a pipeline of STEM college students into the journalism industry while producing future-thinking processes and products.

As a Creative Technologist Intern, you will help L.A. Times explore exciting new ideas. During the 12-week virtual internship program, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the newsroom, understand how news is produced, and team up with other interns to develop proof-of-concept prototypes for future products.

Depending on the scale of each project and the individual’s interests, interns can expect to work on 1-2 projects.
